An almost 3 billion VND scheme has been adopted to upgrade the management and utilisation system of Da Nang port into a modern container port in central Vietnam. Thanks to the system, the port will able to better manage container goods and facilitate ships in handling goods.

On October 18th, 2012, The IPCC(InvestmentPromotion Center for Central Viet Nam) task force led by Director had a meeting and exploration with Nam Giang’s People Committee (PC) for speeding up investment promotion in Nam Giang District.

First priority in the collaboration between Da Nang and IBM in the near future will be given to transport. The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism recently announced that Da Nang, Thua Thien–Hue and Quang Nam will participate in a tourism fair to be held in Russia in September this year. In addition to Binh Thuan and Khanh Hoa, Da Nang has been selected as another ideal destination in Viet Nam for Russian tourists. It is estimated that almost 36,000 tourists fromRussia will visit Da Nang on charter flights between March and September 2012.
