The People’s Committee of Quang Nam province has had a meeting with Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company on its proposal to invest in Tam Tam South Industrial Park and Tam Hiep Urban Area. At the meeting, Mr. Dinh Van Thu noted the results and contribution of Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company to the development of localities in recent years.
On the proposal of Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company for investment in Nam Tam Anh Industrial Park, Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee said that Nam Tam Anh Industrial Park belongs to the area of industrial land planning approved by the Prime Minister in the Regulation Sharing the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. At the same time, it is in line with the orientations of the Chu Lai open economic zone’s general planning until 2035 with a vision to 2050 being submitted for appraisal and approval. Therefore, Quang Nam Province requested the Company to submit a proposal for investment and coordinate with the Chu Lai Open Economic Management Board to advise the provincial People’s Committee to submit it to competent authorities for decision. The Management Board of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone will guide the company to compile dossiers and related procedures to ensure the granting of investment certificates on the occasion of 15 years of establishment of Truong Hai Auto Joint Stock Company.
Regarding the proposed investment in Tam Hiep urban area, Quang Nam People’s Committee said that this project is really necessary to meet housing demand for staff, workers and residential development, soon to bring Nui Thanh district town. Therefore, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province assigned the Management Board of Chu Lai Open EZ to review, adjust and supplement the planning of Tam Hiep urban area and complete the dossier Adjust the general planning of Chu Lai open economic zone to 2035, By 2050, urgently work with central ministries to submit to the Prime Minister for approval. Request Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company to review the demand for investment and land use at Tam Hiep port and logistic port, the location of the existing Chu Lai – Hai Tram truck plant in coordination with the Board. The Chu Lai Open Economic Zone shall adjust and supplement the planning in order to have the bases for implementation.
In addition, the proposal to dredge the channel to meet the ship of 5 thousand tons of Truong Hai Automobile Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee said that this proposal is suitable with the approved adjustment of planning Ky Ha port By scale of port type 1 in the group of seaports in Central Vietnam. Therefore, Quang Nam will continue to invest in the channel to meet the needs of ships of 50,000 tons to meet the development needs.
