Training course on “Strengthening knowledge and skills on investment promotion, laws & policies and FDI management for related officials in Central Vietnam”.

Investment Promotion Center for Central Vietnam (IPCC) – Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) –Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) is going to organize a training course on“Strengthening knowledge and skills on investment promotion, laws & policies and FDI management for related officials in Central Vietnam”.

This course will be planned to organize from 24 – 26 June of 2013 in Danang city.

* Lecturers: Experienced Leaders of Foreign Investment Agency - MPI, Legal Department – MPI, Ministry of Labour – Invalids & Social Affairs, Department of Tax Policy – Ministry of Finance, Department of Policy and Legal - General Department of Land Administration, State Protocol Agency – Ministry of Affairs, Korean experts, etc.

* Some lecture topics:

- Current situation, orientations and solutions aiming at attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI);

- The new characteristics of Law on Corporate Income Tax (CIT); Law on Land (revised);

- Investment promotion and state management on investment promotion;

- External communication skill and diplomatic reception in FDI promotion;

- Demands of Korean businessmen investing in Vietnam and important factors effecting on their decision.

- Introduction to the Trans –Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP) and its effect on Vietnam; Introduction to the ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement (ACIA) and investment cooperation in ASEAN.

- Orientations & policies for attracting large-scale infrastructure investment under Public – Private Partnership (PPP).

* Trainees: Officials and staffs in charge of investment promotion from Departments of Planning and Investment; Investment Promotion Centers; Management Boards of Economic Zone and Industrial Zones; some investors and businessmen throughout 13 provinces in Central Vietnam (around 200 participants).
