On the morning of October 29, in Cat Hiep Commune, Phu Cat District, Binh Dinh Province, Truong Thanh Joint Stock Company (Truong Thanh Vietnam Group -Hanoi) in cooperation with Quadran International Company (Lucia Holding Group, France) started the construction of Cat Hiep Solar Power Project.
Cat Hiep Solar Power Project with a designed capacity of 49.5 MW, total investment capital of nearly VND1,140 billion invested by Binh Dinh Energy and Hi-Tech Joint Stock Company. The project is constructed on an area of 62 ha by Juwi Renewable Energy Company (Germany) in EPC form.
This project has been approved for investment by Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) in December of 2017 after additional approving by MOIT to the Binh Dinh PDP in 2016 -2025 period with an outlook up to 2035.
According to the commitment of the project investor and EPC contractor, Cat Hiep Solar Power Project will be put into operation in the second quarter of 2019. The completion of this project will contribute to the increase of electricity generation capacity, meet the increasing demand for electricity, create the favorable conditions for the development of industries, services and conversion of economic restructure in Binh Dinh province.
