On 20th September, the Vietnam Truong Thanh Group  held the ceremony for starting Binh Nguyen Solar Power Project in Binh Nguyen Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province.

Binh Nguyen Solar Power Project (SPP) invested by Vietnam Truong Thanh Group and Thailand Sermsang Group Joint Venture. The Binh Nguyen Solar Power Project with a capacity of 50 MW annual average generation of 77,000 MWh integrated into the national power system by the 110 kV grid occupies an area of 56 hectares of forest land in the western hills of Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province. The project with a total investment level of VND1,130 billion, expects to be put into operation in June 2019.

Development of the project contributes to supplementing power capacity, generating more revenue for the budget of Quang Ngai province, attracting and creating jobs for hundreds of local workers.

Binh Nguyen SPP is the third power project of Vietnam Truong Thanh Group that has been started for construction in Vietnam recent time, and also the third project of this Group in Quang Ngai province.
