The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) recently held a seminar on production and export of foreign direct investment (FDI) businesses to resolve their difficulties and help them boost their production and exports.
Representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Customs, the General Department of Taxation and many major FDI businesses attended the event.
Representatives of major FDI businesses such as Samsung, Canon, LG and Intel gave their proposals, regarding labor, customs and import-export procedures.
Also at the seminar seven FDI businesses received certificates of merit by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. These included Samsung Electronics Vietnam, Canon Vietnam, Funing Precision Component, Brother Vietnam, Pou Chen Vietnam, Doosan Vietnam and Pou Sung Vietnam, which have made great contributions to exports and economic development in Vietnam in 2012.
