On 25th January of 2015, Mr. Eiji Takama and Mr. Kozo Kinebuchi of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd (Japan) had a work meeting with Investment Promotion Center of Central VietNam (IPCC) for seeking opportunities to invest in Central Viet Nam .The Department of Supporting Japan Enterprises, led by Mr. Le Dinh Duong – IPCC ‘Deputy Director welcomed and worked with the company’ representatives.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd is one of Japan’s leading heavy industry companies with headquarters in Tokyo and many branches and offices worldwide (US, EU, India, South Korea, ASEAN, China, etc). Its investment and business sectors of Mitsubishi are shipbuilding, energy, mechanical engineering, electrical machinery, refrigeration and air conditioning equipments, spare-parts for aircrafts, etc.The group’ products are manufactured on the basis of applying the world' leading advanced and modern technologies
In Asia, the group invested a key project (factory) specializing in the production of high quality air-conditioners and systems in Bangkok - Thailand (namely MACO - a joint venture with Mahajak Group) in order to meet the growing needs of customers and partners in the region, of which Vietnam is a potential market, as well as to export to other major markets.

During the meeting, representatives of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd were introduced the latest information about the potentials and investment advantages, FDI situation, opportunities and key projects calling for investment in Central Vietnam. Mr. Duong and Heads of Divisions of Information and Consultancy supported to answer questions that they concerned about market demands and development potentials of the group’ products. In the next time, the group’ representatives have expections to expand their investment and business opportunities in Vietnam, of which Central Vietnam is a promising destination in case of getting sufficient good conditions.
