On 22nd January of 2014, Mr. Le Minh Duong – Deputy Director and Heads of Divisions of Consultancy and Information of the Investment Promotion Center for Central Vietnam (IPCC) had a work meeting with the delegation of Malaysian businesses. The purpose of the delegation, presented by Managing Director of Prolexus Berhad, was to seek location to invest textile – garment plants in Central Vietnam for expanding their business.
During the meeting, representatives of Malaysian businesses were introduced and updated the newest information about the potentials and investment advantages, infrastructure, land leases, human resources, FDI situation of some suitable industrial parks (IPs) in Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces of Central Vietnam. IPCC’ leaders had also replied to raised questions and concerns regarding issues such as selecting suitable investment locations, availability of local labor forces, wages, tax incentives, operations of Danang seaport, etc.
In the afternoon, Malaysian businesses and IPCC’ leaders took a site-visit for selecting the most suitable investment locations (IPs) in Quang Nam.
“IPCC will coordinate closely with related provincial agencies to support and ensure favorable conditions for above Malaysian businesses in order to help them start up their investment projects soon”, said by Mr. Le Minh Duong.
