On the morning of June 14, 2018, EuroCham Central Vietnam (ECV) held a dialogue between European businesses and H.E. Chairman Huynh Duc Tho of Danang People's Committee,along with leaders of local departments. On behalf of EuroCham (European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam), Mr. Denis Brunetti, Co-chairman of EuroCham attended this event.

The launch of White Book 2018 in Da Nang attracted over 20 representative enterprises and partners who have made significant contribution to the success of the talks with local authorities on the trade and business situation, investment issues and solutions. Background information of the event is based on the content of the EuroCham White Book 2018 - the annual publication of the EuroCham to the Government and local leaders.
Following the Publication Ceremony of the "White Book " held on March in Hanoi, where the White Book was handed over to the top leaders of the Government of Viet Nam, EuroCham and businesses has continued to spread the event to Danang City for increasing awareness as well as support of local leaders in policy direction and making important decision that affect the local economy.
Mr.Denis Brunetti congratulated Danang people on their socio-economic development and increased their focus on ensuring sustainable development of the local economy. Mr. Denis also introduced important points in the White Book to the leaders and highlighted many issues in interdisciplinary issues and solution proposal. This is also a chance for the EuroCham to call for sustainable development actions from businesses in Vietnam.
EurochamCentral Vietnam has been in operation since 2016 and continues to carry out periodic activities with its members in Da Nang, Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue. It also hosts quarterly networking events attended by representatives from more than 30 companies. Eurocham will continue its activities in the Central region in the coming months with more events, including the Vietnam - EU Business Forum (VEUBF) in Central Region on October.
