The East Sea Technology Engineering Electrical Automation on Tuesday broke ground for its 1ha ESTEC factory in Da Nang’s Hi-tech Park.

The construction of the 182 billion VND (around 8 million US$) facility will be divided into 2 stages.
The 1st stage focuses on establishing an automation research and development centre, and developing another centre to offer solutions, products and services with Industry 4.0 adoption. In addition, importance is attached to creating a venue to offer training courses on industrial automation and hi-tech industry, developing a management centre for digital data and cloud computing, and building an area for manufacturing and integrating electric automation products, measuring devices, and environmental monitoring instruments. This stage is scheduled to be completed within the next 5 months.
In the 2nd stage, top priority will be given to expanding the factory’s centres and its manufacturing areas, and expanding research activities to create even more products for the market.
To date, the Hi-tech Park has attracted a total of 3 Japanese-invested and 7 domestic projects, with a total registered capital of over 249.3 million USD.
