On 12th September 2014, Mr Le Huu Loc, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee had a meeting with Mr Giorgio Palmucci, Chairman of Italian Tourism Association, Management board’s member of Federturismo Confindustria Tourism Group who came to the locality to find out tourism cooperation opportunities.

The meeting was attended by Professor Tran Thanh Van, President of Rencontres du Vietnam, representatives of relevant departments and sectors, and the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE)
In his talk, Chairman Le Huu Loc presented an overview of Binh Dinh tourism and its potentials. He appreciated and stressed the importance of having Giorgio Palmucci’s support in luring investment and bringing tourists to Binh Dinh.
Mr Giorgio Palmucci said that it was the first time he came to Binh Dinh with two main purposes. The first purpose was to assist Professor Tran Thanh Van in designing, planning and luring investor for the Resort project at the ICISE. The second one was to investigate the socio-economic situation and investment opportunities in the locality. He appreciated the value of beautiful beach with fine sand which was ideal for tourism development and he is committed to calling for investors and tourists to come to Binh Dinh./.
